If you have not been selected for the H-1B, a great alternative for many applicants is the O1 visa for individuals of extraordinary ability, which I know a lot of people get stressed when they hear that word, extraordinary ability, because they’re not sure if they are in that bracket. But keep in mind the actual definition, a distinction.
So if you have a distinction in your field, something about you in terms of your competitive edge, your uniqueness, your talent that is standing out from others in your field, you could possibly be eligible for an O1. And there can be multiple pathways to get to your immigration goals.
